Favourite quote right now:
— The official vibe for 2026

(my one-man band)
THE MUSICIAN
Jaimie-Rose Brewer, a.k.a.
Before I wanted to be a writer, I wanted to be a singer. I even studied performance after school, where I learned that the industry isn't all it's cracked up to be. Shoutout to my cousin who released his Garageband tracks on Distrokid during quarantine and made me realize I could do it myself. So, yeah. Self-recorded, self-released, self-everything'd. (Next step is have everything professionally mastered and released on Spotify and Shazam and TikTok and all the places.)
Rhymes with lawyer
This is my one-man band (project?) where I release all my music. Very genre fluid: fairtytale pop, acoustic musing, dark piano ballads—we've got 'em all.
* you spin me right round, baby,
right round *
Follow my personal Spotify :)
I have entirely too many Spotify playlists and should probably work in their promotions department.

Behold, my stuff!
Once Upon a Time
I wrote this in 2014 while watching season 3 of the TV show "Once Upon a Time". Used Apple Loops for the music.
Everything
This is an interesting one. About a real relationship (not mine) that didn't work out in the end :/
At least this came out of it :)
This is my most active playlist,
the stuff I'm currently obsessed with and listening to right now. It changes a lot.

#1 Playlist: Hot Sauce
Most Liked Playlist: Jessica Jones Is A Mess
Ungoldy hours
I think this was written right after quarantine. If you listen to it, it kind of explains itself (and the craziness of the time)
Puppeteer
Oof. This actually might be my favorite song I've written
so far, lyrically. I kind of imagine it like a dramatic scene in a really heavy musical.
Whirlpool of Nothing
Pure 17-year-old, just-got-her-heart-broken angst. I clearly remember figuring out the piano after listening to "Monster" by Paramore, even though it sounds nothing like that song.
I'm not quite sure why this playlist
got so many likes, but hey, it works for
54 people. I don't question the algorythms
(algorhythms? algorithms? those things)
My favorite song ever <3
Whenever I'm feeling like I'm running out of time or I'm just burned out, I play this and it's like ... oh, right. Everything's okay. I'm okay. I'll get it done tomorrow.
It's Harder This Way
I wrote this one at 12 (around the time I thought up "Troubled") and I'm still not sure where it came from. The second song I ever wrote (first was a heartbreaker called, um, "Break My Heart"), and most of the lyrics survived the years except one or two lines. Wild.
